There's plenty of reason for $25 a share!!! It's obvious!!! Mark Trudy's words, CRXL will see $25 a share!!! You don't understand CRXL if you think otherwise. Well worth $30 a share or more, even in the very worst possible case. Go CRXL!!!

Wider loss for CRXL announced today - no reason for $25/share Trudy.

LOL, CRXL will have no profit for many years, is overpriced (price/sales is over 30! - think internet bubble valuation justification), senior management overpaid (probably 10% of sales goes to these folks compensation packages - not profit, sales), and company will need additional funding probably 12 months from now. Trudy has clearly lost sight of what a value stock is. Trudy would be wise to sell some of her CRXL (if not all) and be happy with the profit - otherwise she'll be slapping her cute monkey face silly when she realizes she made a mistake and the stock is looking at $15 again within a few months. $25 for CRXL? There is little reason for it any time soon. Time to step back and look it objectively Trudy - though I don't think you can.

LOL, no, you have not done basic DD. Come back when you know who is developing the 400 products... Go CRXL!!!
Trudy the Monkey <trudy@trudythemonkey.com>
The Banana Tree, The Jungle - Friday, July 15, 2005 at 01:01:22 (PDT)
"Hopefully by then you will have done your DD." Likewise for you and GBEL. I have done my DD on CRXL, a number of times and there is much that I am not happy with and why I wouldn't put my money into it - especially now. If you want to have a more in depth discussion about it, I'd suggest we take it offline. Part of it, CRXL had operating margins of negative 100% - I know a monkey with as much wisdom as you knows what that means. But, for those who don't, it means for every $1 in sales they made, they spent $2. "2010 at the latest" - FOR A PROFIT??? 5 years from now? They are getting "$100 million/year minimum in highly profitable revenue" but won't be profitable for another 5 years? Doesn't sound like very profitable revenue to me - or you are grossly exaggerating. Let's see what happens when they have to make another stock offering next year because they will need additional funding. "400 products in the works based on Crucell's PER.C6." 400 products Trudy? The company only has 200 employees - and I'd have to believe less than that actually work on product development. So you are saying each employee involved in product development is working on two or more? Let me give you some advice - after having made so much money on your CRXL thus far, you are the one who should consider selling. I personally won't advise you to buy GBEL any longer (I don't even advise friends/family to buy it any longer) - because when a stock of mine goes up 4 or 5 times in less than two years, surely it is much more expensive. But, I do know you are a value investor - CRXL is far from a value investment. GBEL still is a value investment. GBEL is profitable today and has PE lower than every other competitor - in fact, lower than most profitable companies. In my view - there is significantly more upside in GBEL than CRXL. Profit today is less risky than profit in 5 years - especially when the profit in 5 years option is already trading at 30 times sales vs. 0.25 times sales. I think if you forget everything about GBEL, analyze as if you saw it for the first time today, you'd have to come to the conclusion that it is a value investment and is poised to go higher. Anyhow, let's do compare where GBEL and CRXL are in a year from now.
Jennifer
USA - Thursday, July 14, 2005 at 02:58:39 (PDT)
You clearly haven't done due diligence on CRXL. It is a young biotech, but not one promising a bunch of pie in the sky stuff, one that has contracted with the world leader in vaccine production: $100 million/year minimum in highly profitable revenue. 2010 at the latest, but that is just one of their products. 400 products in the works based on Crucell's PER.C6. Anyway, let's check back in a year. Hopefully by then you will have done your DD.

The Banana Tree, The Jungle - Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at 21:35:48 (PDT)
Sorry Trudy, I do not believe CRXL is going to outperform GBEL. CRXL is your typical biotech/pharma company - no profits, lots of claims of stuff in the pipeline that "should" produce stellar results in the future. You want to compare GBEL and CRXL? Don't go there honey. CRXL has no profits. GBEL has outperformed CRXL profitwise, and stock performance wise over the past year by a wide margin. CRXL has had it's run - and clearly, Fidelity acquiring it's stake was one of the reasons the stock was run up to where it currently stands - and it is also quite clear that it has now run up against resistance. CRXL is not going to see $60 - simply wishful thinking on your part. As for GBEL - sell it? Sorry - on a comparative basis, the stock can easily go to $20 or $25 and still be undervalued compared to the competition. Look at CB Richard Ellis at 36 times earnings and then GBEL sitting at 6. at CB Richard Ellis at 36 times earnings and then GBEL sitting at 6. When did you say CRXL will be profitable?
Jennifer
USA - Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at 18:46:03 (PDT)
Hi Jennifer! No, buy some CRXL now, don't be silly! It's still under $25! CRXL will outperform GBEL from here on out, sell your GBEL and buy CRXL!!! It is not too rich yet, their Sanofi revenue will justify $60 per share minimum. You can't say anything similar for GBEL. Go CRXL!!!

Thanks for the advice Trudy, but as I said, CRXL is now overvalued in my mind. Maybe a year ago at 1/4 the price was ok, but now, at 30+ times sales (what profit?) it is too rich.

Thanks' for your postings. I found out about this gem kind of late - that fidelity has a 5% stake in the company. But I see a lot of potential for this company. I remember about QCOM when nobody knew about CDMA and it exploded since it has a proprietary technology. CRXL has a lot of similarities even though they are in a different business. It has a proprietary patent that will be the source of future royalties and the company will be in several vaccines that will come up in the market. that's my 2 cents.

CRXL has indeed performed excellently as a stock. However, from a valuation perspective, I think it's getting a little out of hand. Even from the perspective of rich pharmaceutical/biotech acquisitions made by big-pharma over the past few years. When you're at 30+ times sales, it's a bit much (in my mind). But, hoping for your continued good luck with it. Me, I continue to sit on my GBEL - closed at $7 yesterday - another new high, still trading at very low PE and PS compared to the competition and they have many things going for it. Look for it to continue up - possibly another 50% by year end from here.

Trudy has traded many many stocks: telecom, energy, retail, technology, those have been the most common. Trudy has a stock tips group where we discuss all sorts of stocks, but Trudy doesn't trade actively at the moment, as Trudy is a busy monkey. When Trudy first started her web site and group, she was very seriously ill and unable to work, but thank God now the health is back and there isn't enough time to follow stocks. Counting on the CRXL to steadily grow until there's more of a chance to trade. But if you like stocks, join trudy's group!

Trudy remembers that after hours, and the next few, it was strange. Normally CRXL doesn't have any AH activity, and Trudy thinks we can safely disregard the AH activity, it's always low-volume and the extreme cases either represent erroneous trades (like a market buy or sell met with few available shares) or attempts at manipulation. Go CRXL!!!

Trudy has never tried flying a plane, and she's a prudent enough monkey that she's not about to try it without some serious education and planning (kind of like trading stocks).

However, Trudy does feel quite qualified to sit in the first class section of an airplane. If CRXL hits $100/share, that's where you'll find her, in the first class section on the way to Leiden to celebrate!

Yahoo still shows GBEL volume was 1.1 million shares on Wednesday, but NASDAQ shows only 98,622 - my guess is Yahoo is wrong. Regardless, I think things are brewing at the company - they just hired a new CEO - been operating without one for 2 years. CEO appears to have extremely strong history in the business - stolen from a very visible competitor.

Jennifer reminds Trudy once again how she should have listened to this monkey and bought GBEL when she had so many chances. Trudy didn't buy at $2.50 because she said it had doubled. Jennifer told Trudy the best was yet to come. Now, GBEL has doubled once again and with stock hitting highs every day this week insiders are buying NOW. What do you suppose that means? Don't let GBEL double on you again before you buy some. It will double or triple in 2005.

hi trudy, i came across this linus pauling quote : 'sometimes I think that I am dreaming; I can hardly believe that the world is as it is. The world is beautiful, wonderful—scientists every year uncover, discover, more and more wonders of organic and inorganic nature. Man is a wonderful organism—the human body, with its millions of millions of cells, molecules of many different kinds entering into chemical reactions with one another; the human mind, capable of feats of complex calculation, of abstract reasoning infinitely beyond those of even the greatest giant electronic calculator.' kissess

Hi michamsterdam!

Yes, animals are much more clever than most humans give them credit for. Koko the Gorilla is actually smarter than most humans, though in terms of *your* IQ scale she is rated in the 70 to 95 range; it is very presumptious of humans to interpret animals on their own terms! Humans are very clever in some ways, very stupid in others. There is much they could learn from the better branches of the evolutionary tree.

nice article in science 11 June 2004 : 'Can a Dog Learn a Word? by Paul Bloom. Language is considered a uniquely human trait. In his Perspective, Bloom discusses exciting new findings with a border collie called Rico that might challenge this view. Rico has a vocabulary of 200 words and can fetch an item according to a command from his owner. Bloom ponders whether this ability is indeed word learning akin to that of human babies.'

'Animal lovers have always argued that our fellow creatures can think and indeed can "almost talk" -while traditional scientists poured scorn. Sue Savage-Rumbaugh is a fine scientist and her remarkable studies with bonobos - "pygmy chimps" - now show that the animal lovers were right all along. An excellent book' - Colin Tudge

They are in late stages with a vaccine in partnership with Glaxo Smith Kline. Any thought on them? Ticker symbol is AVAN. I am personnaly long about 11K shares. NFS

Trudy wonders if TGA is peaking out, it sure had a good run. Of course energy is quite valuable to humans these days. BABB is interesting, thanks! But it's not exactly just steadily increasing in all respects. Does look like a decent company, not much debt, very low trailing P/E (though Trudy hasn't looked enough to see if this isn't artificially low for some reason, as can happen). Yes, Trudy has gotten so CRXL-specific, and she decided to sell some stocks to pay for more CRXL. She always synchronized her tips with her actual buys/sells, but these sells had nothing to do with the individual stocks, so for example she sold much CLRO but didn't think it worth telling everyone "sell CLRO" as she thinks it's a perfectly good stock - on the other hand, she didn't want to be selling a stock that she still listed as an official tip. Therefore, one alert to the group: "SELL EVERYTHING, BUY CRXL" and closing out all open trades in theory. Really keeping at least some of most stocks, lightening up on some of the money makers, but Trudy doesn't like those who tip but don't buy/sell in parallel, so she would rather stop listing tips. Trudy really does think the next month or so is probably the last chance for CRXL under 10, she is trying to go mainly CRXL.

Hi Banana Anna Anna!!! You have a great name! Trudy loves bananas. They are the greatest food! Trudy has done her due diligence, and no other food is even 1/2 as great... That's an interesting stock, Trudy doesn't generally trade .PK stocks (CLRO the only exception, CLRO still has potential, Trudy thinks)... this one may be different, though, they delisted themselves. Trudy agrees, from some perspectives it's way under-priced. Of course it may be too obscure/scary for some investors, may depend on the general market, but with some publicity, would seem to have rally potential. Monkeys love rallies!!! Thanks for the tip! Another .PK stock worth consideration is SNOFF.. almost the same price.

Hi Raven! Yes, it is getting so much harder to find bargains. That was such a golden era for stock picking in early 2003, Trudy has to search far and wide for bargains anywhere near what we once saw, and settle for more modest goals in terms of percent gains. Still, 2004 looks generally positive for the market. OCA is definitely still a bargain on the potential 2-bagger or 3-bagger scale, in Trudy's opinion. CTEL is also a bargain-priced gem, Trudy loves her CTEL! MCZ will likely come back above 1, but Trudy was disappointed with the recent news. IVAN still has to prove themselves, it will need more good news to move, but Trudy still holds IVAN long and strong. Go stocks!!!

I was lucky to stumble onto the ATS board about a year ago and become aware or Trudy's (and her friends') tips! Although I still haven't purchased any ATS, I've done great with CRXL, HRSH and VION! I'm hoping for success with OCA, CTEL and IVAN. I'd buy more MCZ now if I had the money but I'm fully invested. My best stock (and my largest holding) last year was ASCA which moved from the 8.50 to 22.50. Also, FNSR was a reliable swing trade that I bought a few times. Sorry I don't have any current tips to share, but most of the stocks I track have been near their 52 week highs, and I like to buy good stocks at low prices!

Hi Tom! Trudy is honored you came to visit, that is a cool site, by the way! Yes! Trudy wants to compare her official tips with the mutual funds! A bit difficult, because Trudy started tipping in June 2003, some of these funds are around a bit longer. Perhaps Trudy's "Best stocks of 2004" as posted to the OCA board on 1/1/04, can become some sort of "Trudy Index" that we can check at the end of the year against the human funds. Trudy wants to go to your site and study some day. Remember to eat plenty of ripe, organic bananas! They are the best food!

Trudy posts all of her tips in real time, at the time she buys, to her stock tips group: she has "official tips" which she takes most seriously, but she also just posts to her group whenever she buys or sells anything. Trudy's group is at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TrudyStockTips. It's real time, but Trudy doesn't always trade so frequently. As you can check for yourself in the history of the messages, Trudy has had some pretty good tips: IVAN at .96, CRXL at 2.86, HRSH at .76, TMTA at 1.50, CLRO at 2.50, etc.

Thanks. Trudy's method has definitely been the "patient monkey method." So many of these stocks sleep... then wake up to make up for all the time they were sleeping. Trudy thinks CLRO still has legs... The CLRO board is terrible, many real jerks, but there are one or two posters who occasionally come through with news, mainly from the local Utah paper. Trudy rarely posts there, as they bash her almost instantly. Some from the CLRO board have stalked Trudy all over the place, strange: http://messages.yahoo.com/?action=q&board=clro Anyway, Trudy never held the quality of the board against CLRO itself. Great company, stock was in the dog house for no good reason. Similar with HMSL, bashed to absurd depths, though HMSL had much more risk... Go CLRO!!! Go HMSL!!!

Great to hear that some of Trudy's tips have paid off. Hard to tell, but Trudy is still optimistic IVAN has more to run, she took profits on MRY (yes, that was one of her official picks in her group) but still considers it under-priced... but CRXL, now that is a $10-destined stock if there ever was one. Trudy is BACKING UP THE BANANA BOAT on CRXL. Trudy regrets never buying TRDY, though everyone and their mother told her about it. Oh well, so many great stocks out there!!! Let's hope the bull market continues! Trudy loves art, interesting site. Trudy's not a rich monkey, she probably won't be buying too much art soon, but maybe in some years, say, when CRXL hits $30, LOL...

Trudy likes candlesticks! She's trying to learn about them. Trudy just gets tired of people pulling out short-term TA on long-term stocks (if she said "IVAN eats candlesticks for breakfasts" she meant that no TA method can predict the news that will determine IVAN's direction - TA is just one factor). So if Trudy sounded like she didn't like candlesticks, no, that's not true at all, Trudy is trying to learn several aaches to trading/investing, including TA and candlesticks. She started with fundamentals and now is moving to more TA. Any good sources of info for candlesticks? Great luck with all of your investments!!!

Trudy doesn't know as much about HEC as she does about most of her other stocks, she was mainly looking at the general long term chart and considering how extremely far it had fallen. A "bargain play" but not necessarily a long term likely home run like TMTA or CRXL. Trudy might sell half of her HEC at $1.20 and save the "free" shares longer term to see what it does, unless she gets time to do sufficient DD to justify holding all of it for a longer time frame. Hi Lesley!!! Yes, OCA is a GREAT FIND!!! Monkeys love rallies!!! The best kind of rally is what is known as a SHORT SQUEEZE, which OCA is very ripe for!!! OCA looks like a stock that has been attacked by a swarm of shorts, like a strong monkey temporarily weighed down by sheer volume of fleas. Never underestimate the power of a strong monkey!!! Monkeys prevail over fleas every time!!! Go OCA!!! JTHMO. Do your own DD.

Hi Ron!! CTE looks to Trudy like a classic biotech with the main factors impacting their share price (1) continued success with their technology (which looks very promising and has had great recent success) as well as (2) continued general positive direction of the overall economy. As long as these continue, should continue to move up, but could suffer with either any bad company-specific news or any bad overall economic news... Trudy is a bit concerned about a general market correction, but is optimistic long term. She'd have to look further at the specifics of CTE's technology to decide whether to invest. Trudy's favorite biotech remains CRXL. Trudy will invite you to her Stock Tips Group!!!

Hi Thomas!!! Yes, it is fun to do detective work around IVAN, there are many countries as well as much history (Occidental, etc.). Trudy talked to the cows in one of their oil fields, and their word was good enough for her that it would hit $2. And it did!!! Go IVAN!!!

With this clue and the searching in the temp internet files I managed to find the link.. Love when I can figure something out!!!! Here is the link: http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Asian_Economy/EH21Dk01.html Go Ivan!! Trudy would never invest in movies unless she could help it!!! As Steve Martin once said, "every movie costs $2,231.00" (or whatever the arbitrary number). So Trudy figures the art of investing in a movie would be pure political BS, it wouldn't interest Trudy. Besides, Truly be disappointed 9 times out of 10.

Thanks for the tip! CVU looks good on the surface... You could ask in Trudy's group, some of the humans there may find something negative. Sometimes they are good at shooting down Trudy's optimism about stocks. Good to always get a second opinion... Trudy asked on the Yahoo board for CVU as well, "what's wrong with this stock?"

Trudy is still very curious about ETLT.OB, but doesn't know enough yet, and is scared by the scarcity of financial data on them. Where do you go to get financial data on ETLT.OB? Better to discuss on TRUDY'S STOCK DISCUSSION GROUP: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/trudystocktips/ Anyone can join!!! Even humans!!! There we like due diligence and reference to sources of financial data!!! Answer Trudy back on her group if you know where to find financials on ETLT.OB!!!

Trudy, first of all, I hold a position in ATS and I am long. I am also looking at CRXL very carefully and my get a position. I wanted you opinion on another company (ETLT). This is another Bio-tech company and it apparently has reported very good earning and prospects recently. I wanted to know what the very wise monkey thought of ETLT. Thanks in advance.

Trudy can't remember where she first heard of HRSH, but right before she gave it as a tip it was big in the daytrader community. She heard something like "DGEN, VRA, HRSH..." and looked all up and thought "huh?" All they had in common was that their price went up that day. DGEN and VRA were precise opposites in terms of long term hope and fundamentals. Trudy doesn't have $200/year for tip services, but imagines some of them have some real tips - please pass on any you think are good! Trudy tends to get her tips from (1) Yahoo boards and (2) Stock screeners. She thinks HRSH came up on both several times before she actually considered buying it.

HLSH? Trudy hadn't even been looking at it... you don't mean HRSH? Trudy will get back in HRSH whenever it hits some dip, .80 would be excellent. HLSH may be good as well, but Trudy doesn't even know if she can buy .PK stocks or not. Trudy has considered adding CLRO but hasn't really done her due diligence yet.
